There is a large body of "common knowledge" and press reports about the alleged Cyber-Security talent shortage. We suggest that this "shortage" is, to a large degree, self-inflicted, based in no small part on what we hear at conferences, from friends, and our own experiences.
We will share accounts from candidates, crazy postings from companies, and all the fun messages received from recruiters. We want to use this as a starting point to spark discussion about what's wrong, what the cause(s) are, and how we can start making things better.
